Princess has had what appears to be some old skin left on the top of her head since I've had her (nearly 2weeks). It's not covering her eyes and don't seam to be causing her any discomfort.
Do I need to get rid of it?
If so what's the best or least stressful method?
Or can I just leave it to come off with her next shed? |

if it's on top of her head and its just a small patch personally i'd be tempted to leave it rather than stress the snake with trying to remove it....... but as BE says a pic would be good |

Here's the best I can do at the mo. She had a mouse last night, the first thing she's had to eat since I've had her, so i'm trying to desturb her as little as posible. I'm taking it that her eating is a good sign of health and therefore another reason not to try and remove the skin on her head.

It might just be dry skin, I'd leave her for now if she's just eaten though. |

I have noticed on a couple of occations she will rub her nose against some of the furniture in the viv, as she would if she were trying to start a shed. |

Does she drink much? - could be mild dehydration. |

She always has water available to her and I have seen her drink a few times. like I said earlier I'm not too concerned about it, especialy as she has eaten now. |
