Am i too be worried?
Sabre has something on/around her scales. It's Dry no puss, not tender, not lumpy. doesn't look like a burn.

All husbundry is good. If anything it's too dry. Not a burn as there is nothing to burn on and its not her belly.

No mites, whole viv got cleaned and disenfected and new substrate only a week ago.

Could it be where she has caught herself and pulled a scale back?

Keep a close eye on it, but it'll probably just disappear in a couple of sheds.

Tamodine is a useful product to keep handy for small wounds too.

She looks fine this morning. It's still there but she is out and about exploring her new setup

Dunno if anyone is interested. But i did buy Tamodine (Thanks BE) It's gone through one shed and she still has it. Looks a lil worse to the eye but it's dried and looks like it will dissapear after another shed or 2.
I think i must have caught it that night.

Been keeping an eye on this and would really like a 2nd opinion.
Once i got the tamodine i did use it just incase there was an infection. It dried the area up and the scales did come off at the next shed.
It "looks" worse now but it's not spreading and it looks to me like there is new scales growing through.

These pictures do make it look worse as the flash has made it look really fleshly.
Anybody got any ideas what could have caused it? anything else i could do to help it along? How long do scales take to grow back?
It's not causing her any discomofort and she is due a shed

And without flash, making it look normal

The scales, it doesn't look inflamed or infected to me, but please don't take my word for it. If you have any worries I'd go back to the vets.

there is a small area of brown edge on a scale just a bit down from the main area. this wasn't in previous pics. It may be coloration of Tamodine not sure as i have never used it. as for the main area when you go and look at orignal pics you can see the effected area under the outer scales and that hasn't real changed in size. It does in the first pic look like it may have be snagged and the scales where starting to die. But i am not a vet either so can only give an opinion. As others have said a trip to the vets if really worried.
