Hi, and welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear that Grace isn't feeding - but it's that time of year, of course - it's what royals do. Yes, it does seem a short period between sheds, but I can't call myself an expert; I only started with royals in July, but there are plenty of good knowledgeable people on here who will be able to advise you. Things can be a bit slow on a Sunday evening but there will be someone along soon, I'm sure.

All the best!

Don't worry, whilst generally a young snake in it's first year will shed on average every 6 weeks or so and by adult probably every 3 months they all vary, shedding frequently is usually as a result of rapid growth, I have also seen it in snakes that have had mites. I have had a female go 'blue' and shed completely without problems 3 weeks later and also a royal that has shed two weeks after her previous shed, so there is no hard and fast rule. welcome to the forum, just give Grace a wet box and let time tell :)

Wow, Robert, never knew they could shed as frequently as that - one more bit of useful info!

As Robert says, mites can cause frequenty shedding, have you given her a thorough check over?
