thanks! i did put a lot of thought into them! ophion is the great serpent from a (greek?) creation myth and Prisma Pequeno is brazilian portuguese for "little prism". i have to say "wotsit" and "biscuit" were actually named by a 9 year old but they seem fitting lol!
I like urs too, especially the ones for your Royals. What do they mean/why did you choose them?
thnx for the welcome btw |

Thanks, I had a craze for studying Urdu some time back, and when I knew I was getting Shahi, I thought - what's the Urdu for 'royal'? There was his name. 'Saada' is the Arabic for happiness; the name came before she did, and so did 'Surahi', which is one of those Asian water vessels with the narrow neck and plump belly. (Certainly describes my big lass!)
There's a names thread on general (well, two, one for members and another for snakes/pets - you'll have to add yours. |

will do!
thats nice, your ones. a lot of thought gone in! very fitting "snakey " names too! my mate was thinkin of names for his new corn snake and his little brother suggested "killa" i was like..."really? 1. its not very spiritual/striking/mystical/cute or any other real appeal a name can have and 2. its a 10cm long cornsnake not a cobra or even a burmese or anything even remotely intimidating! luckily his input is very limited (eg we ignored him!) |
