After nearly misplacing a note book i'm thinking about keeping a record of my lot online.
Do you keep records? If so what things do you keep a record of. I'll start.

I keep a record of anything strange if i see it when doing the daily checks.
Feeding dates, weight and type of prey. I then china graph the next feeding date on the rub.
Shedding dates and duration of shed cycle.
Weights after shed (usually means bellies empty)
Any illnesses, treatment and recovery time.
Now that i'm trying to breed i also keep monthly weight checks and any signs of breeding.

I do indeed. It started with jotting down on the calendar when my first couple of corns fed and shed, then when the calendar got too messy I switched to a notebook. I record:

Feeding days, prey details, feeding behaviour.
Date of blue, date of clear, date of shed.
Date of dump, wee (for royals - corns are too predictable lol)
Snake behaviour, anything unusual or remarkable.
Weights (for royals)

At the back of the book I have written each snake's name and underneath a list of shedding dates - very useful for tracking a pattern of shed dates and also a handy guide to refer to if a snake refuses food (eg Spider not fed - could be going into blue.)

Yeah, when I start breeding there will be some wacky comments about the honeymoon (I hope.)

Hope I'll never have to record any illness, and that goes for the rest of you guys.

I use record cards (I only have 7 snakes) because I find it more convenient to update the cards everyday while I'm checking their water bowl and spot cleaning the viv. Each viv has the card stuck underneath it.

I used this template:
http://www.ballpythonssa.co.za/Ball%20Tracking%20Card%20-%20Ironballs.pdf

I know a lot of people use iHerp.com.

I send the snakes to the vet yearly just like my dog and bird. So they also have the vet records in the pets folder (that's in file box with our medical records).

Snake owner since Oct 2008, so yeah, I'm no expert.

Both my snakes have their own little books. Anything that goes on goes in.
