a few off you may know me from TCS forum... i didnt have much success with my first royal monty, he went on hunger strike for 6 months and loss alot of weight so i took him back to the shop in return i got a CB11 royal, not sure of sex but very small, really nice colours and a bit nippy, i like his attitude shall i leave him in a dark room for a week till his first feed? cheers :)
here is a few pics of monty the 2nd before popping him into his tank

You won't need to leave him in a dark room as a little light never hurt but obviously make sure he's left well alone for the first week :D goodluck with the feed

when i got my last one i just put her in her viv in our bedroom with my other two. i left her alone and offered her food when she was due which i think was 3 days after i brought her home and she ate first time. i didn't handle her until she had 5 consecutive feeds and only went in the viv to spot clean and change her water. i do have lights in my vivs for the day night period and she seems fine with this
