I thought I would drop by the forum as I have just purchased 3 normal Royals; I used to keep several species of snakes about 10 years ago but had to sell them all due to work and other things going on at the time.
I have finally convinced the wife to let me have some again =). I'm hoping to be successful in breeding royals again. Not for monetary gain (although it helps), but more for the enjoyment of breeding them. I also think it’s a great thing for kids to get involved with.
Ideally in time I would like to own some of the other morphs, particularly an albino and bumblebee. But that will be some way off.
Hi and welcome to the forum it's good to know that your wife is ok with the snake thing it took me some time too to convince my wife to bring a royal python home.
