Hi, have four corns at present and have wanted a Royal Python for a while and plan to get one next month (birthday present). Have been reading the care sheet and many posts and believe I have it all worked out. The only thing I am slightly unsure of is whether a bulb or ceramic heat source and if a pulse or dimming stat is best as every body seems to have their own opinion. Any advice is appreciated.

A pulse stat is best for a heating appliance that doesn't give off light as it would keep flashing, dimming is best for something that does give off light.

ceramic vs. Bulb is basically down to personal preference, I would guess a ceramic would be better due to it not giving off light like a bulb but I don't think it makes a huge difference

edit:also welcome to the forum lol I always forget that
