hi everyone. just a quick question. i bought me first royal 6 weeks ago and was wondering if there is a time period between sheds. he is approx 4 months old weighed 90g when i bought him now 125g. he is fed every five days and hasn't missed any of his 8 feeds. all taken by strike. he's in a rub temps and humidity are in range everything seems fine. just unsure about the shedding or lack of it.
any response's would be appreciated thanx Toney |

Hi and welcome to the forum, to answer your shed question, there is no real time period between sheds, as your royal eats it grow, as it grows it sheds, my young ones tend to shed every 6-8 weeks. |

I would get the humidity up now, when i got my royal i made the mistake of not doing this and he had a bad shed. i now use a cricket tub with damp moss in it, he loves being in it. i use the same with my 3 corn snakes and they get a full body shed every time. Hope it goes well |
