Hello, name's Emz, or tehbunneh, whatever you prefer! I'm starting to think about expanding my snake collection into Royals currently, after spying a particularly nice breeding age male pastel spider in my favourite rep shop!
In terms of reptile experience, some of you may know me from thecornsnake.co.uk, as I own 5 corns (Carolina, Ghost, Hypo Pewter, Granite and Bloodred), and I also own a Taiwanese Beauty, which I am looking to get a mate for in the next year or so to potentially branch into breeding.
I am considering getting a few royals, potentially starting a little breeding project for myself, but before I consider it, definitely looking to get some advice and information from people in the hobby, some leeched experience, if you will, from talking with others!
I have joined the FB group for theroyalpython, and am there with thecornsnake too, which is most likely where I'll do most of my chatting, but I will endeavour to make use of this forum!! I hope to speak with you all soon, and look forward to getting to know some of you! |

Hello BATS, and Gmac!
I'm getting quite excited about a possible venture into Royals. I absolutely adore my rats and corns, and am looking to expand my rat collection into Vietnamese, Mandarin and Bamboos as well as more Corns if I can get away with it, but my partner has said, to own more snakes, they need to pay for themselves, so he has agreed I can have more if I intend to dabble a little in breeding. I'm getting my research in before I commit to anything, but Royals just hold so much more intrigue and genetic diversity, and they do help with the fact some of the morphs are pretty well paid for! With corns, every Tom,****and Harry seems to be breeding them!! |
