Hello... (: And welcome to thee forum.

Unfortunately my Royal is still in a Faun so I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about a UV tube but I'm pretty sure someone on here will be able to give you some great advice. Sorry I can't be of more help.

In short, no. You don't need any UV lighting of any sort :)

Hi - sorry to hear about your beardie.

A faun is a faunarium, a box like a perspex fishtank with a plastic vented lid.

http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=faunarium&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=5248620201730499881&sa=X&ei=bG-YT7XgOLPa4QSy2PzEBg&ved=0CEcQ8gIwAQ

The numbers thing ...yeah it's crazy. what it is is - first no = male, 2nd= female, 3rd = unknown gender.

Say you had a male royal, Fred, a female royal,Lola, and an unsexed royal, Goldie, you could put - 1.1.1 royals - Fred, Lola and Goldie.

Lol!

Hope this helps.

Hi and welcome - you know you ought to have your own thread lol.

The older they are, in my experience, the more readily they feed even after a move. If you can find out what he likes and how he likes it offered to him, that's even better - just try him - but, if he does refuse, don't worry too much - adult royals, especially in mating season, can go for ages without feeding - a few feeds missed is not a disaster.

Just make sure his setup is ok (caresheet on here is very good) and give him space to settle, and he'll eat when he feels like it,
