Hi all, I'm new to the forum and hoping to get some advice.

I kept a Royal Python when I was at University (a good few years ago now!!!!) but had to give him up when I moved back with my parents (my mother has the same problem with snakes as I have with spiders!!!)

I'm now in a position to get another and I'm really looking forward to it but.....

When I got Clyde he was already fully grown. So the advice I'm looking for is....

Are there any breeders near me? (Hampshire)

What are the best practices for keeping hatchlings before they go into a vivarium? I understand the relationship between space and stress.

Apologies if this is not the right place to post this.

I have read a lot of the threads on here but have yet to see anything regarding the care of hatchlings (sorry if I'm being blind/thick!)

I'm guessing that the RUB will need vents put in, heat mat, etc?

Thanks again

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum.

Give John a ring http://www.djreptiles.co.uk/ he's local to you and very good.

9L RUBs are ideal for hatchling Royals http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/uk/html/onlineshop/fullrange_rub.php
