Posted - 21/02/2010 : 21:41:15 You should be able to get a basic mat stat for around £20, it could save you serious vet bills or even your snake's life. It annoys me so much that more pet shops do not ensure people use them. |

Posted - 21/02/2010 : 18:17:35 Hi, welcome to the forum, you DO need a thermostat with any heat source, even heat mats can fail and overheat. |

Posted - 21/02/2010 : 18:14:27 hi steve, and welcome to the fourm.
yeah it will need a bigger watt mat, but u can also put it in the vivarium.
24c should be the cold side, and 30c for the hot side :) |
