I was just wondering..are thermometers without prbes okay to use? because that's what im using at the moment, didn't realize that everyone seems to use ones with probes.. They're digital but they're ones u can just stick on the wall and I have them both sitting on the bottom on the RUB at both ends..is this okay?

i have one of these in my crbs rub... but only cos of the hygrometer it has too, i also have 2 probed digi thermometers.... it seems fairly accurate though from what i can tell

as long as it's on the floor it should be ok,these are cheap enougth though

you can always do what i do and that is to by a bog standard wall thermometer and place it near to the probes and see what temps it is showing...

i keep this in there anyways as a back up should my digital thermometer fail...
