Just a question, how much do ceramics dry the air out in a viv?

Is it a lot? can they cause dehydration or even constipation due to the lack of moisture?

i know there are moss boxes and water bowls..but i am just curious...

interesting, it says 29% so far, i will leave it in a bit longer to see if it changes any more. good job you asked LMAO. mind you i do have a moist moss hide in there at all times, does this mean i dont have to mist the viv, or should i start misting it....? LOL

edit: gone up to 30% LOL a whole 1% makes a huuuge difference dontcha know rofl.

i think that if the air is to dry it maybe that is causing him to keep clicking like he does..it always gets worse midway between sheds..

and also if there is not enough moisture what happens? you get constipated or cant go can you?

he spends a lot of time in his moss box, i am seriously considering putting him on infra red to see what happens...

i am being paranoid arent i?

no wait another five, dont know if he is drinking, but i am thinking of the air drying out...if there was even a tiny bit if mucous it might dry up and cause the crackles..

if there is any, am waiting on those people to tell me what happened to P's brother...then i will decide what i am going to do..

Infra red does pull a bit of the humidity out as well. i discovered that putting a small bowl of ice outside viv near the vents and leaving it to melt raises the humidity quiet a bit.
