Currently I've got Ozzy, my 09 hatchling in a faunarium, where he seems to be doing fine, but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that royals can push the lids off fauns and escape. Is this true, and if so,
*panics for a moment*
...What do I do? >.>
I'm guessing I have to get a RUB? If so, what size?

the size of rub I would recommend would be either the 9ltr or the 18ltr, have heard of people using both these sizes on the dark side.

unless the fauns lid is extreamly tight it is a possibility. for an 09 i would say either a 9L RUB or a 18L RUB. if you are worried place something heavy ontop of it but dont block all the vents

We have a baby BCI in a faun, my other half is going to get some thick rubber bands from work to make sure she can't push the lid off.

rubber bands might not work..lol...

if it is like my faun that secures pretty tight...i have a yearling corn in mine and she cant get the lid off,

but you could always stick a heavy book on it or something...

just a note about rubber bands, I can remember gingerpony posting once about a snake that was in a faunarium and had managed to get its head out but then got stuck and met its demise due to the rubber band squeezing down on it.

Hm, I think I'll go with the book idea, I may as well find a use for all those Harry Potter books I've got lying around (shush, I wanted to know what happens next >.> )
Thanks for the replies all, also, Cat, I love the quote from your sig xD
