Hello there. I strayed into the hognose forum and somebody told me about this forum as well for my bp, so here I am. I'm a member of ball-pythons.net which is a US forum, so I thought it would be interesting to join a European one and see how the hobby is going on the other side of the big pond...
Here are my ball pythons (sorry, I don't have a good camera so these are taken using my cellphone): 2-year-old pastel named Curly

7-month-old pastel named Salazar

Hi Anatess, I did wonder if you knew the difference between a Pastel and a Spider until I read your second post

Actually, after 11 years of my husband begging me for a snake (I was deathly scared of them!), I finally said okay and we picked out the pastel because it was much better looking than all the other ones. I didn't know anything about morphs or anything! Then, a few weeks later, my son wanted one too, so I helped him find another snake and we fell in love with the baby spider. Didn't know we could make bumblebees out of them or that there are a gazillion morphs out there, some worth tons of money! No, we don't have any plans to breed. I mean, I barely know what I'm doing with the day-to-day husbandry. My 7-year-old son knows a lot more about these snakes than I do but I don't think I could trust him with breeding. |
