I'm having a bit of trouble with my girl Fifi. I've been trying to get her onto rats for a while now but she's just not having it, and she's quite a big girl..
She's only ever eaten one rat, and that was the first time I ever tried to feed her one. After that, every time I tried to give her a rat she wouldn't eat it, but if I put a mouse in after she took it straight away. So at the moment I'm just feeding her two mice instead of one rat.
Any way I can get her to come around to eating rats instead of mice? Or shall I just carry on feeding her two mice..? |

Try defrosting the mouse in the same bag as the rat And rubbing it all over The more smell of mouse you can get on the rat the better
Good luck |

Skinny little buggers
I'd stick with what I said and it's worked for all my mousers tricking them |

ive just gotten my wee baby to eat rats, last night actually, i have the frozen rats in beside the frozen mice and that seemed to do the trick, i did however make the rats head a bit bloody before offering the meal, what ever it was did the trick cause she chowed down straight away, long may it last, hope you get your big girl onto rats sucessfully, x |
