Do all spider royals have the gene for 'head wobble' so they will all suffer with it to some degree?
Does it cause the snake any problems?

I do believe I read that another spider had been found in the wild without a head wobble, im unsure where I read it but possible it was on here somewhere
All current spiders in the current market have or could get the head wobble from what I believe, some worse than others and some do not start to show signs till later on in life, some struggle to eat because of it as they are unable to strike correctly, I have not seen this first hand thou, I believe most deal with it well due to spiders being such good sellers
I myself will end up with a spider in my collection because they can be combined very well, many will not go near them due to the wobble

| Yeah all spiders have the wobble but they can still lead a normal life some only show it when they get exited like when its feeding time but they are meant to have an excellent feeding responce |

Its a tough one, do you encourage the spread of a unwanted genetic defect or decide said defect is not so serious it requires eradication through non breeding?
Danno, I've heard of the new spider gene line that ''shouldn't'' contain the head wobble too, which will make an interesting development in years to come.
I don't know its like stargazers in corns(not the same but for comparison stargazing it seen as a bad thing, wobbling heads are tolerated), its an unwanted genetic defect in my book and shouldn't be used to make money no matter how beautiful the results are. BUT all morphs are defects/variations on the norm so its hard to say whats allowed and what isn't, I personally think the spider project should have been stopped as soon as the defect came to light as genetic rather than carried on for financial gain but that is just my opinion, and as it goes its not exactly an important one in the grand scale of it. |

| My three year old male spider used to wobble but as he got older it stopped and he only nods at feeding time when he's ready to strike and when he does he never misses. |
