that little viv is great..
you can get bulbs here from reptiles ink
he is online right now, and the guards are fantastic, but get a hinged one, much easier for changing bulbs

i have ir bulb and sunglo bulb, i use the ir only though. i need to use the wodern one really as my poor snakes nose is getting so sore and there is no other way of doing it as the glass tank is so shallow. it wouldnt leave any room for anything else. and if its not rubbing its nose on the mesh its rubbing on the glass. thats when its not sleeping. cant be healthy for it to keep rubbimg so i need to make it comfortable. its starting to make me feel bad :( |

well done on getting the wooden viv it a far better job. And don't go getting rid of the glass one. in a wee while you'll be looking more snakes and you could make your own vivs and use the glass from the old viv for you sliding doors! |

there is a great post up in the diy threads on how to build a viv. I have just made 2 well almost finish just have to get glass runners tomorrow. but to build the 2 viv to the stage they are at so far has cost me £0.00. i had everything at home already and in the shed or stuff lying around in work. so you really can safe a bundle.
look forward to seeing your new set up. |

you should have left him to eat it , mine sometimes used to take it backwards...it is fine if they do
you could try leaving it in there, but it might not take it, if it does not then leave it again for another five days..you can stress a snake if trying to often... |
