| Cant believe i`ve had Tilly 4 weeks now. Shes definately a wild one, hates being handled. Iv`e put a sock in both off her hides, hopefully she will get used to my scent and it might calm her down.......or it will kill her lol. |

How old is she?
My 09 isnt that great but i put it down to his age. I certainly wouldnt put his face up to my ear to listen to his breathing like i do my 07 thats for sure, lol  |

Thank you Wolfspirit. I know it will take a while i just wasn`t expecting a royal to be like this, thought she would coil up when she was scared lol. Maybe she will calm down just to get rid off my socks  |

| Do you know if she was handled a lot before you got her, could be that she just needs to get used to that if she hasn't, a little a day gradually increasing the time and hopefully she will be fine :) |

| I dont think it is a good idea to handle every day, i think this will stress her out more, 2 or 3 times a week is probably enough to start with. |

| All I know is that my Royal has been handled everyday except after feeding when i miss a day so she goes 48 hours before I next get her out and she is feeding really well, but they all have different characters and temperaments so you have to play it as it goes until you know their behaviour :) good luck and I'm sure she will settle if she is kept peaceful and calm |
