heffa shed night before last, not good shed as all in pieces but looks like she has got it all off. Took a large mouse last night and now all cosey.

Her eyes went blue only a couple of days before she shed, which thought was strange....

but happy she happy now :)

I noticed today that her head looks like it has some stuck shed on it. But when I checked her on 4/1, this was not evident. What is the best way to remove this?

getting shed off, most people put a damp hide box in there, and that tends to work. If it doesnt then maybe putting her in a pillowcase with a damp rough cloth (flannel?) in it.
When my royal had her bad shed I soaked a towel, wrung it out so it was damp and let the royal slide through it, with me putting only a tiny bit of pressure on, and the skin loosed up and came off that way

I have tried dampening with cotton buds, as it right on top of her head, between her eyes. her head looks like she has a goldy look to it. A friend mentioned using olive oil. wots peoples thought on this?

I know you can get that shed liquid specifically from shops, wot is it called?

Oh and good news, she took her first rat last night, absolutely no problemo, didnt even hav to rub it against a mouse. :)

if its a small patch and, bearing in mind wher it is i wouldn't be overly concerned and probably wait for the next shed then prepare more adding a damp hide when you see her in blue

but the stuff you mean is called Shed Aid

Dumerils boas, BCO hybrids, Sinder Hypo boas, cornsnakes, ratsnakes, Day Geckos

Thanks Gingerpony. i will get some.
I did have a damp hide in and dampened it every day, as was drying out quite quickly. She had a delayed shed (took nearly 2 months)

But will wait till next shed and see how she is
