does anyone know if flamazine cream is perscription only
I had some perscribed from vet after my b.p sustained thermal burn. his burn has pretty much healed but i want to keep using cream until next shed just to keep a barrier on it to ensure no infections get in. i'd get to the vets but it's about 40 mile away in morpeth so wondered if you can get it on net thanks

just try a more local vet,explain the situation and they will probably sell you some if you cant get it.

would it not have to be another reptile specialist or will a normal vets keep it anyway

Yes it is presciption only, you will be able to get it from any vets but they would probably want to see the snake aswell.

The vet you went to first may post a new tube out to you if you pay over the phone. Your best off giving them a call and having a chat to them.
