My royal was paired from December through January, laid eggs in April and hatched on July 31st and was not ready to adopt until September.

You can breed year-round, but most breeders usually only breed a female once a year, a lot of times skipping a year. This is done for the health of the mother.

I did not breed my female this year because she laid eggs last year.


Snake owner since Oct 2008, so yeah, I'm no expert.
