Hi, and welcome to the forum!
About cleaning solution - if you watch Snakebyte TV you may have seen an episode where they teased a snake with a lemon (grr! snakes should be respected - only thing I don't like about STV) to prove or disprove that snakes could be repelled by lemon. Personally I wouldn't use anything strongly scented, because of the incredible olfactory powers of the snake.
Mind you I could be tempted to change my mind when confronted by stinky corns!
I like F10, which is widely available from reptile suppliers and the disinfectant most used by vets - if you have other pets and have had to make a vet visit, F10 is what you smell when you walk into the consulting room and they've just swabbed down the table. If it's good enough for vets it's good enough for me. |

As bats said, i use f10 as well, my royals are always making a mess so i clean and disinfect things all the bloody time and can't go wrong with f10. |
