Is it normal for a royal to not move from one spot for 4 days? Dio hasn't moved from being inside the hollowed out logs since Monday morning.
I'm a bit of a worrier and it's not helping being away visiting my parents and just relying on what my boyfriends told me. I've been trying to get him to check Dio's OK but he's in his grumpy mood and refuses to get him out to check and said it will have to wait till his day off on Saturday. |

YUP!
They do like frightening us. When I first got Saada I was convinced she'd died. I didn't see her for DAYS. She's still alive and kicking ...well, not exactly kicking but you get my drift ...
Lazy little buggers, royals!
Plus is there a chance he's going into shed?
He sounds pretty content whatever. Probably sitting there smirking - oo, got the humans fussing!

I was thinking maybe he was going into shed. I'll have to wait until i see him on sunday when i get back to find out unless my boyfriend tell me first. He's not worried at all but then he's had garter snake before so know what to expect.
He's probably loving the fact the logs still smell of hamster. |

OMG LOL!
You might not realise why I'm cracking up laughing here but I'm a child of the 60s (euphemism for ancient hippy) and there used to be a celebrated Monty Python sketch about hamsters ...

I've never seen that sketch and i've seen alot of Monty Python thanks to my dad. I wanted to call Dio Monty (or fluffy) but wasn't allowed.
I never noticed Carly (the hamster) ever farting lol. |

She's not getting any fibre now as she's buried in my back garden next to the 2 rats now lol hence getting the snake as a 'replaceent'. Hopefully he will last longer than 18 months (touch wood).
Just asked him and he hasn't got a clue. You've really put me in the mood for watch Life of Brian or Holy Grail now lol. |

I have it now - the Brand New Monty Python Bok,(yes, Bok) containing such chapters as Rat Recipes, Rat Menu and Hamsters: a Warning ...
