Hi there all i`ve just joined after getting a royal python for my sons for xmas (monty) original name i know.
Just one question so far how do i increase the temp in the tank ? i have a mat and a bulb but we seem to be a little bit under what i`ve been told it should be !!
Hi, welcome to the forum and congrats on getting Monty.
Can you give a few more details about your setup - is it a vivarium or plastic box, and what sort of bulb are you using? You don't need a mat and a heatbulb by the way - although so many shops sell setups with them both - been there done that myself.
I'm always quoting this thread but it's really good and informative about a first setup and might make things a bit clearer, but any questions at all, feel free to ask.
