Hell I thought he'd never get round to it ..Fea shed, Gimli shed and today baby slinkster's eyes have started to go blue!
So now to see how long it'll take:

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if I dampen a couple of Kit's socks and place them in his warm hide ( above the heat mat)once his eyes clear..that should help? |

| yeah it won't do any harm to put damp socks under the heat bulb. i do it as soon as i see them go blue, i ues a flannel though |

Just to increase humidity :)
I thought socks as his hide is a tight squeeze with nothing added, so kid's socks scrunched up would leave the Slinkster more room. A flannel would be better but it'd fill it lol |

| probably wont work with a heat mat as they are contact heaters so if the flannel is on top of hide its not in contact with the mat, but then with the temps in the viv/rub it might make a difference. it wont evaporate as quickly as it would under a bulb. worth a try though |

I don't know, Slinky is such a little sweetheart, he has never hissed, struck or shown any sign of aggression.
Katana takes him out even while deep in the blue phase and still he roams awhile before finding a comfy spot to have a snooze. Sometimes cupped in both hands, sometimes under the duvet to curl against her foot.
Fea is just as sweet natured, tho he did hiss while blue lol never struck so next shed i'll leave him in peace
I'm feeling kinda lucky to have them :) |

Yep will increase humidity and provide a sedative effect, keep him nice and calm. lol. |
