Hi all. Ok havent had a Snake for some years always wanted another but the Missus would only let me have one if she could have a Spider. A Big Spider but for my Birthday she supprised me with Our new House Member a Royal Bull, now to say It was a complete supprise is well an understatement. But Im now fortunate to Have Him/Her (Strangles) yeah i know simpsons have a lot to do with the name, well not sure what sex it is yet as have been told by shop it was a male when brought but saturday the missus was told it was a Female, now I did know what my last Royal was, A girl by the blunt tail and having it sexed. He?she has a very Sharp tail so I assumend he was a Mail that and the Spur which was absent on my Prior Snake. Will Post a few Pictures of Him?her Its 18 months old and we have now had him 2 weeks this saturday and has eaten well over the 2 weeks 3 Mice smallish and 2 Small Rats tonight. Looks like It is fairly happy as we have Him/Her out at night most nights for a couple of hours. Ok enough waffle for my first Post.

Hi Strangles, welcome to the forum
Just me being picky, but a Royal Bull? It could be a Royal Python or a Ball Python (another name for same snake) or a Bull snake (which is completely different)
Look forward to the pics, we all love pics on here |

hi , looked at your snake , looks really solid... i hadn't heard of the bull so i found a bit about it...apparently they are like a non-venomous rattle snake.

They are often called Ball Pythons due to their tendency to curl up in a ball. Never heard of a Bull Python. |
