hi there, i wanted to ask a question, when we first got matilda omg dare i say it 8 weeks ago she came out every night to investigate her viv, always seemed to be on the go etc but now she never ever ever comes out unless we get her out, ive never seen her at all out of her hide............ Im a bit puzzled, i think our temp r ok at a steady 90.3 hot end 74-79 cold end she has a hide at either side of her viv and a waterbowl in the middle with some greenery and a snake tree (not that she needs that) but it looks nice, any ideas??

My Ripley is much the same, now he's settled in. I've had him around the same amount of time as you have Matilda. I know he moves from hide to hide, but I rarely see him. I figure it means he's happy and settled, as everyone says you don't see much of them. |

Ive got two boys, and one of them is always out and about, and the other you would be lucky to see him unless he's moving hides... Nothing to worry about I wouldnt imagine as long as she keeps eating etc should be fine. |

She may be sneaking out at night too, I know Duke does I can see the lines in the substrate as he makes grooves he is so hefty lol. But generally if they are staying still they are perfectly content with where they live and the temperatures etc so you can consider it a good thing, if she is eating which is also a good sign she is content then I dont think you have anything to worry about. |
