fair enough i suppose everybody has their own preffered set-up i may try and set up a viv like how you have explained to see how my snake fairs with it thanks for the info. |

Yes, I didnt think of that. Im currently leaving a lamp on in my room 4pm-9pm to keep the daylight constant.
But from an aesthetic view, I dont bother. |

sorry there was one on the darkside which had pics of a snakes belly burnt due to no attention to the heat mat. my heat mat 90% of the time doesnt even feel like its on |

only when my room feels cold the mat feels warm thats probably down to me being cold. the man who i bought my snake off ha an un-thermostated mat on in the viv i brought it all home and put a thermometer on it and it was running at 150f. GP thats a good point you made |
