Hello every 1 right has any one else seen this ?? when i bath Buddygaa she doesnt like water really and only had a soak when in heavy shed and while i do a big clean she has 5 mins in big bath then gets out , how ever our newest Sidney well he had a really bad shed when he came i think it was possabley the last 2/3 shed all together stuck on the poor chap so he was soaked every other day he it all came over after a couple of weeks and he has just had his first proper shed for some time it seem s so i know he is ok and every thing is great in his viv BUT when he is in the bath i always put in a lrg log so they can have a rest or rub against when in shed but he keeps going under water and swimming the water is shallow at 1 end only 1/2 cm and at deep end 6 cm so he doesnt have to go in the deep bit but he seems to keep going back to it at 1st i stopped him and took him out as he had his head under for some time , each time i always put him in shallow end with the log but he keeps doing it , i know its not hurting him as other wise he wouldnt of starting eating , shedding and poohing but it seems he thinks hes a water snake is it really bad ?? (long term ) .

Not bad at all as long as you have the water at the right sort of temperature and they are able to get out if they want to.

Bathed them both last night and Buddygaa went to dart right out but i held her and gentlely lowered her down into shallow end i also have a large log in to make her feel there is some thing to hold in case that was the problem within mins she was having a swim and climbed onto log and kept on doing it , so am happy now as i like to give them a bath when they shed even when there have a damp hide , how ever sid still thinks he is an eel and or loch ness monster.
