i must join this club too :( after striking and coiling every feed for a year Igbo hasnt fed for 3 wks now but im not too bothered ,hes not loosing wieght and ive read all the posts lol!!
wooop wooop a long 8months and 19 days have passed and caramac has eaten her dinner. in this time she shed twice poo'ed once and lost 45g. not bad for a snake that has only ever got to the massive wieght of 557grams

what worked in the end?,im 7 months in and tried everything but live and assist/force feeding.
small box treatment. -1 x 9Lrub -1 x small water bowl -1 x perfect size hide -loads of fake plants (enough so it looks cramped) -1 x heat mat -1 x stat -1 x towel/sheet (you may need a bigger rub than that depending on the size of your royal)
set the rub up in a room that is hardly used. put your royal in add the decor. cover with the towel/sheet leave alone for 1 week except to change the water when needed. then on the seventh day drop a pray item in that is smaller than the normal size you feed. wait 12-24hrs and hopefully the food is gone
Hi all im new to both the forum and keeping a royal. i have a 5ft female which was supposedly eating ok but since ive had her she show little interest in food. The temps seem ok 83 - 92 and humidity 55% she has a couple of hides and a climbing log as well as plastic plants etc. ive put it down to her new environment so just keep trying on a weekly basis
Sorry i should have mentioned i have had her for 5 weeks so not sure when she last ate i will now start to weigh her to check she is not losing weight she looks ok and moves about the viv at night no sign of mites and airways and vent are clear.
